Deck mostly focuses on beating Escape from Dol Guldur one-handed with Éowyn taken prisoner.
Main mechanics of the deck are
- A Very Good Tale coupled with a large number of allies to work around the "1 ally per round" restriction. This also enabled playing "off-sphere" allies such as Northern Tracker, Escort from Edoras and Beorn
- Faramir to boost willpower
- Sneak Attack to play Beorn or Gandalf
- Traps to block enemies and to boost Emyn Arnen Ranger
- Soldier of Gondor mainly to search for Faramir
