This deck is trying to get the most out of the brother Elrohir and Elladan. Attaching Heir of Mardil will potentially give one brother action at all primary phases, I prefer Elrohir. Quest, move a resource with Errand-rider, ready with Heir of Mardil, ready payment or Armored Destrier, and he can also attack that turn. I think Rivendell Blade and Dagger of Westernesse or interchangeable, you just want the attack boost.
Denethor's ability lets you play Steward of Gondor on turn one, I recommend you mulligan for it. Lots of other reource generation sources i.e Gaining Strength and Wealth of Gondor.
Steward of Gondor is tricky, it can be good for either leaderhsip hero depending on the quest. Denethor is the best option for me. You can use Errand rider without having to worry about the Gondor trait.
Armored Destrier and a Gondorian Shield make Denethor an incredible defender, possibly freeing a brother for questing or combat if the set up isn't complete.
Card draw is handled with classics, Foe-hammer and Rod of the Steward, It isnt uncommon for Denethor to have excess resources. Erestor helps give in hand unique cards value, pitch them for something new.
Works well in solo, could function as a Banker support deck in multiplayer, Trade a few attachments for those that add ranged or sentinel. Earlier versions suffered from a resource excess so I added a few higher costed leadership Allies. Wish I had more dunedain allies to keep a theme.
Did well in Peril in Pelagir and quest from the Khazad-Dum cycle. Siege and Battle questing also worked somewhat, this deck handle siege better.
