Outlands nonsense with mono heroes and moderate draw. A Very Good Tale is key, and Tome of Atanatar allows you to keep playing Sneak Attack and Men of the West to make sure you don’t dump too many allies into the discard pile, never to be seen again. I originally had a build with Armored Destrier for Denethor, but I decided that the relatively low starting of the deck allows me to build up some buffs for both and . Also, Celebrían's Stone is generally better for Théodred than the horse would be for the steward himself. Bit of healing with the Dúnedain Remedy in a pinch and deck-thinning with Gandalf, Rod of the Steward, and We Are Not Idle. Your only management is Gandalf, so one could be forgiven for using the book to exclusively recur Sneak Attack.
I rarely put this thing on the table, but I do continually update it for the sake of proving that the Outlands trait is still bonkers.
