This is the deck I played for Foundations of Stone, the Facebook Quest of the Week for 23rd - 29th April 2018. The quest is pretty easy so I decided to play something fun.
It's a Bilbo Baggins tower deck in which you:
- Draw lots of cards in the early game
- Load up Bilbo with as many attachments as possible
- Discard Folco Boffin to keep your threat low (hovering around 20 is best)
- Use Bilbo to handle every aspect of the game once he has Strider, 10+ willpower from Song attachments, A Burning Brand, Sentinel, 5 , and lots of attack with Ranged, Steward of Gondor and Gondorian Fire.
I suggest a mulligan for Resourceful as well as Peace, and Thought. Start towering up Bilbo while turtling at stage 1B until Bilbo is good and ready. Before going to stage 3, try to keep one Burning Brand in your hand, then play Will of the West to reshuffle your discard pile into your deck. This means you'll have access to Burning Brand (by shuffling one back into your deck) in case you lose the one you have in hand from the quest card that forces you to discard all of your cards.
