Comments and suggestions are much appreciated—I'm here to learn.
This is my very first attempt at deckbuilding in LOTR LCG (or any card game, for the matter).
Built For: Journey Along the Anduin
Approach
Limitations: Core Set only
Heroes: I kept things simple when building this deck, selecting my favorite characters from the Core Set, Aragorn and Legolas, and adding Théodred to generate some extra resources.
Allies: I added the Allies I consider to be most useful, Gandalf and Faramir, as well some inexpensive Allies to defend the party and dish out some directly or, when possible, via Response (Gondorian Spearman and Snowbourn Scout).
Attachments: With only one hero, I thought it was essential to include Steward of Gondor to generate extra resources, and Horn of Gondor will add resources. Celebrían's Stone and Citadel Plate are included to boost and .
Events: I included 3 copies of low-cost events, except for Quick Strike, which I haven't been able to make good use of in previous games, and 1-2 copies of the more expensive but potentially useful events from the Core Set.
