OVERVIEW - Do the following and you'll win:

1. Stage 1 - draw your entire deck before moving on (less than 10 rounds)
2. Stage 2 - set up your board state before moving on; Sneak Attack Gandalf in during the quest phase when you know you'll clear 2B (make sure your is under 27 before moving on); using Protector of Lórien make sure you discard any unplayed A Burning Brands from play and a copy of A Test of Will if you haven't discarded one yet and then play Will of the West to grab all your discarded cards in case you go to the stage 4 that discards your hand (Gandalf will come back to hand due to Sneak Attack)
3. Stage 3 - you will lose any A Burning Brand attachments in play here, no big deal because you have one or two in your deck now
4. Stage 4 - quest past easily
5. Stage 5 - quest with all 3 heroes along with 3 allies boosted with Faramir; Bombur can handle locations in staging here

HEROES

• Beravor - attach Unexpected Courage; use her to draw cards each round
• Bilbo Baggins - attach 2x A Burning Brand, 2X Fast Hitch, Protector of Lórien, Song of Kings, Song of Travel, and Steward of Gondor; use Frodo's response as undefended (unless you have a Hasty Stroke for dealing with the shadow effect for Sudden Pitfall) to take attacks until Bilbo attaches A Burning Brand; boost with Arwen
• Frodo Baggins - attach 1X Fast Hitch

STRATEGY

• SETUP - Henamarth Riversong, Arwen Undómiel, or Hasty Stroke are good for opening hand
• ROUND 1 - don't quest in case of Sudden Pitfall; Henamarth Riversong can reveal encounter card coming next round
• CARD DRAW - Beravor, Bilbo, Gléowine, Daeron's Runes, and Gandalf
• THREAT REDUCTION - 3X Elrond's Counsel w Arwen, and Gandalf
• COMBAT - don't be afraid to Sneak Attack Gandalf in early to wipe out enemies (especially Goblin Follower); keep staging area clear
• Bombur - great for this quest and especially in final stage in case you have a high threat location in play

ENCOUNTER CARDS

• Goblin Follower - the reason I didn't go with a Dunhere deck; I hate this guy in this quest; might have to sneak attack Gandalf in to kill him
• Sudden Pitfall - Henamarth Riversong helps you avoid
• Watchful Eyes - 2X Miner of the Iron Hills to deal with it
• Lost and Alone - since we have drawn our entire deck, we will get a possible discarded hero back immediately (using Gléowine)
• Nameless Things - Gandalf them
