This deck is all about Ceorl. Get him out as early as possible, Sword-thain him, and start throwing on Songs, Mounts, and indeed Steward of Gondor. Play with a group with plenty of heroes who can pay to pass him around often. Get hi Spear of the Mark so he hits for more and keep paying to ready and move him around.

Ceorl should be able to:

  1. Quest during the quest phase . or use Mariner's Compass, then be pay to ready and move so he can
  2. Attack during the attack phase, hopefully for 5 with Armored Destrier, Spear of the Mark, and Song of Travel (fittingly) and Elfhelm's ability. then pay again so he can
  3. Attack a second time, either on the current player or a different one.

This means Ceorl is contributing 2 to the quest and two 5 strength attacks each round, unaided. He's also being passed around as a hero contributing 3 , , and/or resources to whoever has him at the time with Steward of Gondor.

To pile on, Charge of the Rohirrim and Forth Eorlingas! buff for +3 and attacking into staging (which gives Ceorl another +1 for potentially two 9 attacks into staging in one turn against different enemies).

If you wanted to also have some other heroes, Legolas naturally would benefit from Firefoot (get those mount bonuses) and Rivendell Blade. Get Aragorn on Armored Destrier or Steed of the North depending on whether you want the Sentinel blocks. Aragorn may benefit from Charge of the Rohirrim and Forth Eorlingas! if you can also throw in Mutual Accord. Throw extra Song of Kings, Song of Wisdom, and Song of Battle on other heroes with mounts to get them Elfhelm's bonuses.

Feel free to play around with the allies. Gimli, Gondorian Spearman, and Greenwood Archer could be swapped for better questing if you don't need the extra Ranged attacks and Sentinel defenders.

Hey Ceorl, what do you call a fight in a horse pen? A corral quarrel. A corral quarrel, Ceorl
