Pirate Brahm 1062
Current version. Added A Burning Brand for defense. Trimmed allies, added second Firyal because she/he's (comments?) great with traps. Removed Ranger Summons, though still sideboard worthy.
I'm enjoying this both solo and paired with a good Noldor deck.
(shameless plug: http://ringsdb.com/decklist/view/7599/nordull-1.0)
A ranger/trap deck with some readying and Ent allies. I wanted to play with a few newer cards, like Emyn Arnen Ranger, Magic Ring, Steed of the North, and Dúnedain Pipe, so this is what I came up with.
To this day I love using Aragorn's threat reset. Also, it's very thematically satisfying when you manage to net The Watcher in the Water (THAT'S FOR ÓIN, YOU MONSTER!!!).
Favorite trick: Use Anborn to recover an Ambush, ready him using Faramir on engagement. Insta-kill in combat with Steed of the North readied heroes, use Anborn to recover the Ambush. When board state is built (since you're 'netting' card draw and resources each turn) and hand is full of traps like Entangling Nets, play in combo with Ambush for easier kills. Ranger Spear is great, too.
Sometimes I'll sub out the Emyn Arnen Rangers for Ghân-buri-Ghân when I really need to avoid travel, though I'd recommend Thror's Map or Thrór's Key in a companion deck.
