As I started my Book of Elessar series, I've looked at a variety of decks with Aragorn, many of which haven't been featured yet on my blog, such as Elessar, Undimmed. This is also one of those decks, which I arrived at while trying to find some way to beat Dunland Trap. This deck was the one that did it, and I kept tinkering with it and playing other quests. Like the headache that was Dunland Trap, I could not find a deck I liked against the Nin-in-Eilph. Well, this deck beat that quest last night. I felt it was time to share it.

It's pretty straight forward, Core Aragorn does pretty much everything, while Arwen Undómiel and Éowyn quest. Aragorn is the only target for every attachment in the deck, save Self Preservation, since you could put that on Treebeard, or Legolas (or, in the case of Nin-in-Eilph, Nalir).

You want to see Steward of Gondor in your opening hand, of course, and also preferably #Elven-light, since there are two ways to get rid of it among your heroes. This really makes it possible to draw more consistently without Lore around. I can do without the Armored Destrier and when going to the Sideboard, those are usually cards I drop for others.

Galadriel is the only way to get Self-Preservation, but you could swap in the Ring of Barahir in order to possibly give you a way to play them naturally. Galadriel also acts as card draw, and hopefully, lands Roheryn or Sword that was Broken. I prefer to get Roheryn quickly, because I can play the Gondorian Shield and Legolas, as well as Feint. With the Warnings and Shield, Aragorn can defend for 6 , which can handle most things quite well.

I simply tossed in 3rd copies of many cards in the Sideboard, as well as 3 copies of Elfhelm and Reforged. In Elfhelm's case, he was crucial to beating the Nin-in-Eilph quest, and I added him solely for that, but there are plenty of quests where he's useful, like Intruders in Chetwood. In terms of Reforged, that could allow you a 2nd avenue to play Self-Preservation, but is also nice for any quests or effects that you know might wash away all your attachments. But, I haven't had to put it into the deck for any quests I've played so far.

I've logged quite a few quests on here, and I will keep throwing the deck at others!
