Gimli: Hey Dain, hey dad! Look at this! Gondorian Shields! These shields are very much lighter than the Erebor Armors!

Dáin Ironfoot: Ok...I got it... We need to be ready more often and my money have to be spend in that...

Glóin: Dwarfs with Gondorian Shields...What ideas do young people have these days...

A version of the Forth, The Three Hunters! contract using Dwarf heros and Dwarf stuff. Yes...I know that Mounts are very useful with this contract. But I don't want Mounts in this deck for thematic obsessions. And I know...I justified the Gondorian Shield very bad with this Intro...but with the Armor of Erebor, this deck doesn't work, simply. Is not the best and more efficient use of this contract. But I love to play thematic and finally I won some quests with "The Three Dwarf Hunters".

With the addition of Golden Belt, this deck finally get some good results to me. You can use the attachment cards left in your hand in the mid game to upgrade even more the stats of the three heroes. And, more important, you get 1 more bonus:

  • 1 more for the restricted keyword provided by the contract.

In this deck, Willpower and redying are the most complicated achievments.

Spirit resources have to be dedicated to Unexpected Courage and the key events needed to reduce the threat and cancel stuff. Leadership resources are very important for Song of Hope, so the combo with Glóin hability are important. Tactic resources are destinated to pay for attachments, basically.

Foe-hammer is the only way to draw cards. Don't use Dáin Ironfoot hability until you have control of a pair of them. This is not a miner deck. So keep in mind that to restrict the use of Dáin Ironfoot only in case of death.

Mulligan for 4 restricted (or more) in hand. Well-Equipped are always a card to keep. Raiment of War are the most important attachment to turn the contract as soon as possible. Bow of Yew only works in early game to get de contract objective. Then can be changed for more useful attachments.

In an ideal world, with a Golden Belt for each hero: Dáin Ironfoot (our defender) gets - Raiment of War, Round Shield, Dwarven Shield. 2 Unexpected Courage

Gimli (our attacker) gets - Raiment of War, Dwarven Axe (or Durin's Axe), War Axe. 1 Unexpected Courage

Glóin (our quester) gets - Celebrían's Stone and a lot of Ring Mail. Song of Hope and Strider are key cards for try to quest alone or with Gimli if he had one Unexpected Courage.

This let you this stats:

Dáin Ironfoot 5 2 5 (+2 for Shadows) 7

Gimli 6 9 (+1 for each damage) 3 7

Glóin 10 (+ Song of Hope effect) 3 4 7

Sideboard for adapt to some other quests. But keep in mind that reducing the options to turn the contract soon (more that turn 2 is dangerous...) is not a good idea.

I repeat. This is not the best and more efficient use of this contract. But I love to play thematic and finally I won some quests with them.

Nice work. I’ve been working on a dwarf three hunters deck too but that readying is the hard part! I believe Raiment can only go on Warriors so it might not work on Gloin. He would probably have the cash to pay for Ancestral Armor though!

@The BGamerJoeoh. Yes. Absolutely. I will change the description. And try with a copy of Ancestral.

Many Thanks!!
