A thematic-ish journey through the Dwarrowdelf Cycle.

Days after Arwen arrives back in Rivendell, a bedraggled Aragorn limps across the Last Bridge, to the amazement of those who thought him lost on the journey over the Misty Mountains. But a fortuitously positioned snowdrift saved him from his fall off the path, and he was able to drag himself to safety.

Lord Elrond's skill heals his wounds in record time, but there is no rest for the Dunedain. Orc presence has risen at the foot of the mountains, and Elrond sends him to investigate.

By happy coincidence, Dwarves from Erebor are making a special visit to Rivendell, for a reunion with one Bilbo Baggins on the anniversary of the quest for Erebor. Balin in particular jumps at the mere mention of Moria, so the company joins Aragorn on his quest.

This deck will take the bulk of questing work, but also has a good toolbelt for the obstacles of this quest. Ever My Heart Rises and The Galadhrim's Greeting try to keep threat low (as well as the abilites of Nori and Dwalin), avoiding engagements where possible - though there are enough allies to sacrifice occasionally. Miner of the Iron Hills in particular helps remove tentacles which attach themselves to you.

If you have the resources, Erebor Record Keeper and Longbeard Map-Maker allow a great deal of flexibility in readying, or willpower-boosting. Arguably you could switch in a second hero to facilitate this.

Healing Herbs helps out the other deck if the enemy attacks grow numerous.

This deck has a few cards to try and help solve the riddle of the Doors of Durin. Rumour from the Earth and Ravens of the Mountain reveal the top card of the encounter deck, letting you know what you need to discard to get a match. Dwarven Tomb can rescue that crucial card from your discard pile, if required. Sideboarding in Risk Some Light is also an option, though is expensive if you can't get yourself down into secrecy (which is more often than not).

I have won by Durin's Door, so it can be done, though note that neither deck has been optimised regarding card titles for this purpose!
