lxkillswitchxl 25

lxkillswitchxl has a newer deck inspired by this one: My first deck

I am aiming to Quest through the heroes while cheating chump defenders into play and taking care of enemies with harder hitters like Mithlond Sea-watcher.

I was unsure of how to quest efficiently within the tactics sphere as im new to the game and so I chose Éowyn solely for her high willpower (I know this isnt doing her justice im sure).

Théoden is to help boost willpower while Prince Imrahil is the sole reason I wanted to build this deck.

I have noticed a lot of the attachments werent putting in any work so I may remove quite a few being as a lot of them are also situational or restricted.

I also only took this deck through the Flight From Moria quest which was a decent test for my questing strength and I won both games quite convincingly however showed no evidence that my attachments are where I need them. Removing a lot of these would also mean I could probably remove Master Ironsmith.

Looking for any feedback, however not entirely sure what ill be able to add due to my card pool have a few holes at the moment.

Thanks for taking a look!

[Edit 1] As I read the deck again and look back at it, i am beginning to question the inclusion of Envoy of Pelargir and im really just cheating a useless ally into play for free when im sure there is something better I could be cheating into play.

I am also questioning ANY of the attachments in the deck that are combat focused because if im always questing with the heroes, where do their effects ever take place.I think I have them there for whenever I need to deal with more enemies than I can handle but this shouldnt be happening with a deck like this or im already probably losing.

Love these 3 heroes together. Have you considered Knight of Minas Tirith? I really like him in decks like this.

I find Horn of Gondor goes great with Prince Imrahil. Thicket of Spears is another mono classic.

Ditto to comments above. I’d also remove Foe Hammer since you don’t have many weapons. If you’re worried about card draw you can add in Gandalf instead. The Horn will help with getting resources for him. You can also think of Imrahil’s ability as a form of card draw if you’re chumping with the allies.

The ally lineup looks solid. I like to play the allies that have enter play abilities with Imrahil like the Marksman and the Archer. Beorn is also a fun ally to include. If you’re looking for more willpower, there are some decent 2 WP allies in tactics now you can add. I would drop the Ironsmith for the reasons you mentioned above.

@AuthrawI did not consider Knight of Minas Tirith as I dont have that adventure pack, but that might be the next pack I obtain if im going to be dedicated to fine tuning this deck now. I Think im going to try Horn of Gondor in place of Captain of Gondor and Raven-winged Helm

@TritonWreck Thank you for your comments and suggestions, taking them into account and going to look back at gandalf. Foe Hammer was 100% because i was worried 1 card draw per turn was too slow, but ive noticed im only play 1 a turn anyway minus the imrahil effect.

I forgot all about ally Legolas. He would be great in this deck.

This deck is always great. You probably don't have it yet, but Beneath the Sands has in my opinion an even better hero for this type of deck: Hirgon. Marksman of Lórien is SO POWERFUL in this deck!

@lxkillswitchxlJust remember that the Horn of Gondor triggers on characters being destroyed, not leaving play due to Prince Imrahil effect

Master Ironsmith is not really useful in this deck, but you could use it to cheat off-sphere attachments like Ancestral Armor and Herugrim in play.
