Changes since V1

Added the great synergy around Ring of Barahir, Well Preserved and Galadriel that Somesort found out in his Grey Wanderer Galadriel deck.

Just don't do as I did. I tried it against Race Across Harad, a quest that prevents you from taking undefended attacks :D

How the deck works

A deck built around the synergy between Lothíriel and Folco Boffin.

Try to get Prince Imrahil in your hand in the first turn. You have Drinking Song in case he's not in your starting hand. Try to spend Folco's resource on Nenya, Envoy of Pelargir or even Resourceful or Ithilien Lookout if you can go into Secrecy thanks to Elrond's Counsel.

During quest phase, use the response of Lothíriel to put Prince Imrahil in play. Assuming you draw with Galadriel, you stil have 7 willpower with Lothíriel, Prince Imrahil, and Folco Boffin without spending any resource.

After the resolution of the quest, discard Folco Boffin. Prince Imrahil is then an hero and will stay in play. So you basically get a 2/2/2/3 Spirit hero whose threat cost is -1 :D

Apart from Prince Imrahil, there is good synergy between Lothíriel and Envoy of Pelargir, which can be a bit like the effect of Théodred and can fuel Galadriel with resources.

The rest of the deck is a classic and strong Secrecy Spirit Lore deck. Nenya is important to get access to the Lore sphere after Folco Boffin is discarded, so Resourceful should go on Galadriel.

Magic Ring is handy on Galadriel to do both her action and Nenya's action in the same turn, even if it's not always necessary.

If you like Secrecy decks, try it and see how Lothíriel and Folco Boffin are working well together. Any ideas to improve the deck are welcome!

Love that Lothiriel / Imrahil combo so much. Especially love it when Imrahil bites the dust and you just sneak a new copy in next round for free.

I am always hesitating to sacrifice Imrahil because you would lose his resource during next turn, and I find that this deck often begs for resources. Still it's a nice way to bring back a hero!

Yeah, typically you're not going to kill him just to kill him. But if you have another Imrahil in hand, you can almost think of him like a feint or a 1-cost chump; you sacrifice the one in play to negate a nasty attack and you lose a resource in the process. (You also lose the chance to Lothiriel in another ally, but still.)

Or even if it's not a planned play, it's nice that if something nasty comes along and kills a hero (a surprise undefended attack, A Foe Beyond, Hummerhorns, etc) the cost of losing Imrahil is quite low. Often losing a hero can be a death knell. With Lothiriel / Imrahil, it's more of an inconvenience.
