There's a mistake in this deck. See version 2 for a fix.
I've been enjoying the Bond of Friendship contact recently, but the high starting threat is always a bit of a problem. I wanted to try something different than just Hobbits to get around that and came up with this. Unsurprisingly I ended up using Glorfindel.
Frodo Baggins gives threat reduction and pairs well with Beravor allowing you to use her ability each round.
Beregond is the defender and gets Song of Wisdom, A Burning Brand, and Gondorian Shield and can then reliably trigger The Day's Rising every round assuming there's an enemy to engage.
Glorfindel does his usual thing with Light of Valinor and Mirkwood Long-knife.
The allies are the usual suspects, no surprises there. Just a decent spread to try and cover all the bases.
The extra songs go on Frodo Baggins since he's always questing and he gets Steward of Gondor to fuel his ability.
With 7 starting traits I thought The Free Peoples was a good 1-of for the deck and in my testing it's been a great card to power through to the end of the quest. In combination with Faramir I rage quested for 66 in my last quest to finish it off.
This seems like a really strong deck to me. I'd be interested in what you all think.
Glorfindel cant have mirkwood long knife.
