I didn't saw a deck with Gloin and Song of Healing, so wanted to make you discover this one.
Edit : i discovered recently that there is already a deck with this combo. I didn't found it when i created mine because it uses a proxy of Song of Healing.
The combo
Put Song of Healing on Glóin. As soon as he can pay (with Song of Travel or Narvi's Belt), use Elven-light to heal him.
Every 2 damage taken you get +1 ressource and +1 card from your deck.
Note : without Elrond you wouldn't net +1 ressource but you would still get the free card draw... just leaving this idea here
Everyone can trigger the heal, so you can play your leftover Song of Healing on other players and pay some of Glóin's ressources to draw more with elven-light.
There are many ways to get your 3 combo cards turn 1, and turn 2 is almost guaranteed with Heed the Dream.
The rest of the deck
I choose Balin as third hero for his response. If there aren't nast shadow effects like "discard all attachments", Frodo Baggins could be a good choice (+1 card on Drinking Song).
I have no perfect idea for a win condition, so with your empty deck and your pile of ressources you can either :
- give then to other player with Errand-rider
- search their deck with Heed the Dream
- power up Elrond to insane levels with Lords of the Eldar
- Sneak Attack Gandalf until there's nothing left (Tome of Atanatar+Second Breakfast for loop)
some imladris stargazer could help to get the important cards first (or catch the plate with well equipped) and the elvenlight into the discard.
see now use for pillars of kings. you start with 31 so its only 1 card (that can be done with we are not idle) and for reduction above 40 you have enough gandalfs. would add a 2. sneackattack.
what is very good in this deck, you do not need elrond. if anybody on the table want him you can easiliy replace him with a different lorecharacter (perhaps beravor) and get the important cards earlier.
