Deck 1, meant to handle questing and defense. Strider, Windfola, Resourceful go on Círdan, Armored Destrier and Dúnedain Warning are allotted as you see fit between Denethor and Aragorn in the companion deck.
Some play tips:
- Strider > Resourceful > Narya
- Once Aragorn gets Steward of Gondor, Denethor can pass him resources if he doesn't need them
- Arwen Undómiel targets Denethor, allowing defenses to be confined to the partner deck (that actually has non-Narya requiring counterattacking capabilities)
- Pass Ceorl off to the partner deck if you want him to quest so that he gets hit by Sword that was Broken
Mulligan targets: Strider, Narya, Resourcefuls, Arwen Undómiel/Armored Destrier
If you have it you can put Strider on Denethor and Light of Valinor on Círdan the Shipwright
