The Last Alliance of Silvans and Dwarves gives a fun and varied play experience where the chief question is, "What am I going to use the contract on this turn?"

Standard set up is to Muligan for either O Lórien! or Steward of Gondor. This deck is very resource hungry so both are needed. Then go for an ally swarm. Steward should go on Dáin Ironfoot, with the option to pass one of the resources over to Bifur to smooth the spheres out.

The contract will provide the resource acceleration initially, and with O Lórien! equipped it is usual to be able to play the first Silvan ally each round for free!

Quest with Celeborn and Bifur, and Willpower buffed allies.

Defend with Dáin Ironfoot (for which there are 2 Dwarven Shields to help). Readying from Erebor Record Keeper and use of Feigned Voices will also help.

Attack is slow to get going but you will soon have Orophin, Gimli, Greenwood Archers and Soldier of Erebor

Card draw is not a problem in this deck with Unlikely Friendship, Daeron's Runes, King Under the Mountain and the Galadhrim Minstrel's enters play ability grabbing cards all over (this minstrel should be first choice for being brought back to hand when using a Silvan event or The Elvenking).

Contract choices

1. Use it on Dáin Ironfoot to give the Silvan's his Willpower buff
2. Use on on The Tree People so you can grab a Dwarf or Silvan (one of the best feelings from this deck revolves around tree peopling into a Soldier of Erebor).
3. Use it on Silvan Tracker to heal your Dwarves as well as the Silvans (and it works around the board for multi player games!)
4. Occasionally, use it on Celeborn to give the Dwarves his enters play ability
5. It is possible to use it with Host of Galadhrim to make double use of the enters play abilities of Glóin and Erebor Hammersmith
