My take on an eagles deck, I've had a lot of fun and success with this deck I've decided to share it.
The engine of the deck is the Vilya-Wizard Pipe combo: use the Wizard Pipe to move a powerful ally to the top of your deck and play it for free with Vilya. Daeron's Runes, Word of Command, Expert Treasure-hunter and Haleth will help you quickly draw the missing pieces of the combo.
If you're really unlucky Radagast's Staff is an viable backup for the pipe-ring combo.
Beorn is an amazing hero and will help you staying alive during the early rounds, until you set up a favorable board state. It also combos nicely with Loyal Hound and Landroval.
Starting threat is very high but Gandalf (played with Vilya or Gwaihir's Debt up to 6 times per game) or Favor of the Valar will get you out of troubles.
Meneldor and Gwaihir are an incredible duo: they quest hard (one of the weaknesses of traditional eagles decks) and explore locations very efficiently.
Try to play Eagles of the Misty Mountains as soon as possible and enjoy those giant eagles destroying whole armies of orcs during the later rounds.
I like this deck because is both thematic and strong: Beorn, Elrond and the Eagles of the Misty Mountains helped Bilbo Baggins in his journey to the Lonely Mountain.
