I decided to build one more deck for Con of the Rings. Legolas has long been one of my favorite heroes in the game and as I was slowly working my way through the first 3 cycles, I had always been looking forward to getting another ranged Silvan in Haldir of Lórien. I decided to add in another ranged Tactics hero, Brand son of Bain, and go all in on taking down enemies in a multiplayer setting with the Forth, The Three Hunters! contract. Consequently, I will probably not bring my direct damage deck which I wasn't really happy with anyway.
You are looking for weapons and card draw in your opening hand. Almost all of the restricted attachments can be played for free which allows you to build up the heroes to 6-7 effective attack fairly quickly. This deck will not quest outside of battle questing until the contract flips and has almost no defense (unless you count Brand). It largely gets around it's lack of defense with Feint and Quick Strike. With Rohan Warhorse, and Lembas you can clear more than your fair share of enemies each turn.
Since the cost curve is so low, I included a few copies of Hour of Wrath. Song of Battle gives Haldir something to do with his resources since there are only 4 cost worth of Lore cards included. The deck typically runs with a small hand size since you can play cards so quickly which means it works well when you run up against the Dunlandings in the Ring-Maker cycle.
Secret Vigil and The Long Defeat are interchangeable depending on what you need for the quest.
