This deck has performed well in all HON and Against the Shadow scenarios.

Mulligan for, and get Steward of Gondor on Théodred so the Rohan warrior can take advantage of Visionary Leadership. If you get lucky stick Celebrían's Stone on him as well. Obviously if Boromir doesn't have a resource Théodred should almost always provide one. Prince Imrahil should, with few exceptions, quest as the deck has plenty of chump blockers. Boromir can rest against that wall until his sword is needed.

The deck plays well with others as Théodred, Man the Walls, Herald of Anórien, and Errand-rider can always provide support to other players. And for heroes and characters who possess the Gondor trait Boromir, Visionary Leadership, Envoy of Pelargir, and Squire of the Citadel can offer a boost as well.

When using A Very Good Tale make sure to exhaust at least 4 resources worth of allies. It's such a powerhouse.

Wandering Exile and Erestor are in the deck to provide a means to unload duplicate copies of Steward of Gondor and Visionary Leadership.

The deck is very straight forward. Not the most exciting deck to play but it's effective enough.
