This deck was build as a part of the Second Breakfast challenge and used against the Across the Ettenmoors, although I used it against other quests as well. As always, I only have one core set in physical copy, so do not expect 3 copies of certain cards like Unexpected Courage in my decks.

The attributes defined all three heroes this time, as I did not feel playing traps without Damrod is a good idea. The one hero I never built a deck with so far is definitely Fatty Bolger, it is not a hero I would normally chose, either this version, or I did consider the ALeP version - Fatty Bolger. But I decided this one may be a better option. And to be very honest, I do not always use his ability, although I did at times.

Since Dúnhere targets the staging, I considered my options how to boost him and take out some enemies. Glamdring came to mind, but I was not sure I want to use something guarded. But I put it into sideboard as an option. In the end I decided to go for Legacy Blade since the quest Across Etternmoors is heavy on side quests and you are guaranteed to have them in the victory display fast. For other quests I added some into the deck, but you may not get as lucky. Since Fatty Bolger ability raises your threat, it can counter Dúnhere ability, which is a bummer. So I added some threat lowering cards to help with the treat gain.

I added Thalion into the deck, because I think he is nice addition and with the quest being one which is heavy on side quest, I felt like he is an auto include. East Road Ranger is also good ally if you will be going against quest with lot of side quests! Lindir I added as a bit of an emergency card draw if I am running low on cards and he is in my hand. Robin Smallburrow is an interesting ally to play, but he did save me few times by postponing the time when I have to engage certain enemy and giving Dúnhere extra round to take it out!

I splashed in one copy of Jubayr just in case, but often with traps the attack is not too bad, if I have to face the enemy at all, which is not always the case.

Good opening hand would be with some card draw, either Daeron's Runes or even traps as they draw you card if enemy gets caught in them! I put a single copy of Anborn into the deck, it helped me in several games to recycle them. Also he is a target for Ranger Bow and can help to deal with enemies in the staging area. The other character I use this on is Damrod who tends to get the Unexpected Courage. While he is not cheap, I have the The Storm Comes and Seasoned Forager to make him more reasonable in the deck.

I would not say this is a super strong deck, but I had to work with the limitations and Fatty Bolger is not likely to be oen of my go to heroes. But I tried to build a deck with it!

Sideboard is simple this time, I just put in Glamdring as another option how to boost Dúnhere's attack.
