I wanted to build a deck around Faramir since I always felt hero Faramir felt overshadowed by his ally version. This deck is about getting allies in play and having some action advantage with his ability, Strider, Treebeard, and Gimli.
You'll want to mulligan for any cards like Resourceful, Timely Aid, Strider, Steward of Gondor or DĂșnedain Wanderer to get some allies / action advantage in play. With 3 copies of most of these cards, it should be easy. Taking Initiative is also great for early card draw and damage on the opening turn. It will almost always hit with only 16/50 cards costing < 2. If you don't land any of these cards, with a starting resource of 4, you can always hardcast Treebeard or any 4 cost ally.
Use Son of Arnor to help with more action advantage by getting any ents brought in that turn to ready. A Good Harvest can be used for some resource smoothing if you're having trouble getting the Song of Wisdomor Treebeard.
The deck can be adjusted for a different set of allies/ents.
