DECK NAME - We Wants It
OVERVIEW - We will initially hang out at Stage 1 and attempt to not quest successfully so that we are not forced to reveal an additional card per The Hunt Begins forced effect. We will use a combination of Henamarth Riversong and Protector of Lórien to achieve this. Aggressive card draw will allow us to get to the cards we need like a Forest Snare to take care of an early Hunters from Mordor enemy. We will wait till a clue is in staging and quest successfully to snag it and move on to stage 2. This is an easy win, but it makes for a potentially long quest.
HEROES
- Aragorn - attach Celebrían's Stone, 3X Dúnedain Mark, 3X Protector of Lórien, Steward of Gondor, and 2X Unexpected Courage
- Beravor - attach Song of Kings and Unexpected Courage
- Bilbo Baggins - attach Song of Kings
STRATEGY
- OPENING HAND - hard mulligan for Steward of Gondor; Henamarth Riversong is also good
- STAGE 1 - attempt to keep your threat from increasing and from questing successfully by questing for 0 progress while you get your board state rolling; use Henamarth Riversong to insure; some early unsuccessful attempts is okay
- STAGE 2 & 3 - just quest past but it's best to have a clue card before moving on to 3B or else you have to circle back to 2B
- Celebrían's Stone - gives Aragorn access
- Forest Snare - use for pinning down early enemies, especially Hunters from Mordor
- Protector of Lórien - helps for defense and for getting exact desired value for questing
- Stand and Fight - use to bring back discarded Snowbourn Scouts to remove locations in staging
- Will of the West - recur all discarded cards, especially Sneak Attack and The Galadhrim's Greeting
