This deck started with one of my favourite combos of Denethor/Damrod/Master of the Forge. On turn one you can transfer a resource to Damrod, play the master, search for an attachment like Steward of Gondor, and Denethor will still have enough resources to play it on himself.

From there, the deck needed early willpower, but also a way to kill enemies that don't get trapped. I decided on Tactics Eowyn, because she gives me access to Gondorian Shield for Denethor to hold back early enemies. In addition, she has a nice low starting threat, which helps because as an attachments-style deck you need some time to get set up.

That said, you don't need a ton of time. The Masters of the Forge are wizards in this deck. Once Song of Travel is played (On Denethor since he has steward), you can get out Herugrim and Unexpected Courage on Eowyn so she can quest and attack. All the willpower bonuses go on her obviously.

Restricted attacments goal:

Other Attachments:

Essentially Damrod becomes a secondary defender/attacker in late game when you might get swarmed with enemies. Eowyn with Herugrim can only dispatch 1 per round, so it helps to have a second attacker.

Eowyn's resources look like they will continue to pile up, but I haven't found that to be the case. You can put Song of Travel on her to help pay for the Spirit cards. Or, if the quest has archery or direct damage, you can heal damage off her with the Dúnedain Remedy. An example of this can be seen in the video.

For multiplayer, include the Dúnedain Signals in lieu of Dúnedain Quest to give Denethor sentinel.

@Seastan you're not actually able to play Armored Destrier on Damrod are you, given he isn't a Leadership or sentinel hero?

Nice deck! One thing though, you can't attach Armored Destrier to Damrod. Only to or Sentinel heroes.

@D4rkWolf10``@MazarbulYou are both right! But that's fine, it's definitely not an important attachment for him.

Nice deck, my question is why don't you add 3 Galadriel Ally?

@DeinoKI was trying to limit the number of allies in the deck. I also wanted to try our the Weather Hills Watchman. He's not great, and I think you could do better by swapping him out for Galadriel.

How well do you think this quest would do against the Dessert Crossing Quest? Few allies to exhaust or damage, just need plenty of questing power.

@bodasafaThis deck starts with a decent amount of willpower but it's slow to build up, and even slower to build up attack. Also, the first quest stage makes your Masters of the Forge enter play exhausted which slows it down further. But it's still a good deck so it might be able to pull it off.
