Mormegil 5393
This deck is part of Mormegil’s Deckbox, an effort to create an extensive catalogue of decks for the different archetypes, themes and playing styles available to players. Click here to check out the whole project.
Preferred Player Count: 1-4
Rating: .5
Premise
A deck revolving around Rosie Cotton as your Messenger of the King. Put all the action advantage and willpower boosts on Rosie (including The One Ring/Power of Command) so that she can quest, boost another quester and can still support you during the combat phase.
How To Play
I like Resourceful or Magic Ring early on to help with reources which is definitely the weak point of the deck. Apart from that, Fast Hitch or Unexpected Courage are nice to see as soon as possible. From there on, you quest with quite a bit, defend with Gaffer Gamgee or Frodo Baggins and attack with the help of Rosie's boost.
Considerations
Elrond becomes very decent in 3-/4-player-games. Steward of Gondor is not needed for yourself necessarily but can still help out, at your side or somewhere else. The Doomed package is worth a shout if you play a quest where you need to ramp up quickly and might not have the time to build Rosie up with more conventional methods.
