Please keep in mind that I don't own the 6 packs from the Haradrim cycle nor the Vengeance of Mordor cycle/Deluxe set.
This deck is an alternative build to one of my decks that was heavily focused on Gandalf. And it's made exclusively for solo play, although you could make it work if you include Desperate Alliance and let the other player also use Aragorn's ability at some point (it's once per game, but not per player).
The idea is to establish a strong board presence as fast as you can (using all your card draw and resource generation options with doomed cards) and then reset your high threat with Aragorn. Don't be afraid to spam doomed cards here, no need to be conservative about them (unless of course you play a quest that restricts you from lowering your threat).
Sword that was Broken is very important here, with it you'll be able to quest really well.
I've decided to include a single Dwarven Sellsword here as he combos really well with Galadriel - if you have Sword that was Broken in play, he will quest for 3 without exhausting in round one and still be able to swing/defend in combat (he's worth it for 1 resource, even if you don't plan to keep him around for longer).
Ever Vigilant if pretty optional, but can be very useful if you want to ready Treebeard on turn one or some other strong ally like Saruman.
As for Saruman - I love to use him in this deck, he's extremely powerful since he gets rid of a nasty card in staging for a round, he doesn't exhaust to quest (Galadriel!) and he can swing for a whopping 5
