BattleWolf 5
This deck is designed to be a solo deck to deal with combat, heavy threat reduction, and utilizing the most broken hero in this game. The weaknesses found in it come from the lack of healing, and a somewhat weaker questing until your allies get on the board. In solo play this deck is designed for Arwen Undómiel and Glorfindel to be your questers (if you find trouble with questing in solo play then i would suggest trading Arwen Undómiel out for Éowyn), and with allies like Northern Tracker and West Road Traveller you should have no problems achieving this goal. Beorn, on the other hand is designed to be the beast that he is and dominate all combat situations. However, with his immunity to player card effects and immunity to attachments, keeping him alive can get a bit tricky. Close Call and Honour Guard are some of the best cards to keep everyone's favorite bear alive since they do not target him and instead target the damage dealt to him. And if he does die? Dont worry, you have ways to bring him back into the game Fortune or Fate. Since Glorfindel also will not exhaust to quest with Light of Valinor he can also help you bring down those pesky enemies with many hit points or heavy defense, and Rivendell Blade will ensure that you can cut through their defense with ease.
In Multiplayer gameplay, this deck goes great with any other deck that either buffs your deck, or may take a while to set up, but once it is online it can basically win the game for you by itself. (cough cough Outlands) Overall this deck is great at keeping Beorn alive to deal with combat, and to produce enough questing to get through any solo gameplay. If you experience difficulty getting through a quest due to lack of willpower or attack I suggest trading out Stand and Fight and a sidequest for any 3 allies in there that will help you out. Three Ethir Swordsman will give you plus twelve willpower once they are all out there and adding Vassal of the Windlord or Dúnedain Hunter will give you a plus 3 boost to attack if needed for most troublesome bosses, and if you really want to dominate, just throw in 3 copies of Gandalf. Remember folks, protect your bear and your bear will protect you.
Since I'm not sure what you meant by "plus nine", I just wanted to make it clear that 3 Ethir Swordsman will quest for 12, not 9.
