if you need more room, Fear! Fire! Foes! is not soo effective for 2 res you can use Gaffer Gamgee repeatable to avoid an attack comletely. In the Shadows is t empting because its free but there are better cards (as i described above) specially in multiplayer where the big fights mostly are taken by other player not the hobbit-one.
