Discard Pile

Banjo-Mango 18

This deck revolves around managing the top card in the discard pile to get the most use out of Gaeronel and the complementary allies: Sailor of Lune, Warden of the Havens, and Mithlond Sea-watcher.

There are a few methods of discarding any card:

Note: Elven Spear and Protector of Lórien should probably not be prioritized to be used to their max potential (3 times per phase). They're more valuable as a tool to ensure the correct card type is at the top of your pile. Likewise for To the Sea, to the Sea! since most allies are 2 cost and the ideal discard during planning phase would be an event that is easy to play during questing phase.

For discarding event "fuel" you have:

You also have each event that can be played during the quest or planning phase such as Elwing's Flight or Reforged. In a long game or if using enough card draw Lords of the Eldar can also end up being "renewable energy" once it is going to the bottom of a thin deck.

For fueling the attachment discards:

I would also recommend using Reforged on Cram to potentially use it 6 times. This would cost no resources the sequence of playing an event during questing and discarding Cram after during combat works well.

For fueling ally discard, you really need to get a copy of Wandering Spirit in your discard. Harlond Lookout can an alright substitute while you wait to draw Wandering Spirit, which is the ultimate renewable energy for fueling ally discard.

I also could not resist the urge to include a copy of Golden Shield and Herugrim for a combo with Nenya
