GamgeeGardens 9
The whole idea of this deck is to make use of The Free Peoples as one of a range of global boosts for an army of allies. Importantly, 7 of the 9 traits required to play the card are contained within our heroes, with the other two available in Sam's favourite pony. I chose to base this on a Gondor deck and playing it is simple: churn out allies with all haste, chaining up the heralds, envoys, squires and anything else in hand.
The heroes provide enough actions in the early game to protect your swelling forces but (fingers crossed) some chump blocking won't hurt you too badly. I have had a bit of fun with Ranger Summons but I understand that it is not to everyone's taste.
Anyway, enjoy playing!

Aug 16, 2017If I'm not mistaken, Aragorn, Denethor, Sam and Bill would amount only to 8 different (!) traits, since 'Noble' is in there twice. So you'd need to play either Gimli (Dwarf & Warrior), the Veteran of Osgiliath (Warrior) or Gandalf (Istari) before being able to use The Free Peoples. |

Aug 16, 2017Ah yes, Elfhelm is an excellent candidate! I came up with Haldir of Lórien, but then you wouldn't do Mono-Leadership anymore. |
Nice idea to use Bill to round out the 9 traits. With Sam in play, best trait-per-resource ally in the game?
