Jedkenobi 1

This deck is built around the Gondor theme, for a 2-player game. The other deck contains Beregond. The first Armored Destrier and the first Gondorian Shield should be given to the Beregond in the other deck. It also includes cards to ready Beregond. With the exception of Gandalf, who should be used to lower threat and, if needed, provide some card draw, all allies can be used for the ability of Prince Imrahil. Visionary Leadership can provide a questing boost if necessary.

Steward of Gondor should be placed on Denethor to take advantage of his resource-redistribution ability and to support the second player. The Errand-rider are also there to provide resources to heroes who need them, especially in the second player’s deck, which requires a lot of resources to reach its full potential as quickly as possible: if possible, avoid sacrificing them. Prince Imrahil is included to perform Sneak Attacks and help handle the often tricky first rounds. He provides the Tactics sphere, which in particular grants access to events that can ready Beregond. This is a deck that takes a little time to set up but, once it does, it becomes a real powerhouse.

Gather Information should be used primarily to fetch a Gondorian Shield if the second player’s Beregond is not protected by a Protector of Lórien. Otherwise, it should fetch an Armored Destrier for Beregond if he doesn’t have Unexpected Courage, and finally, to fetch a Steward of Gondor if Beregond is already equipped.
