This deck is all about Gimli and the game itself took really long so I plan to redesign it in future to make the game shorter. However it worked on Trolls. And it really doesn't matter what is your starting hand.
At the start only Gimli and Dúnhere due quests, while Denethor is used for his ability to move the cards to the bottom of the encounter deck (mainly do traps). A Burning Brand and Protector of Lórien are for him as main defender. Celebrían's Stone, Horn of Gondor and all Dúnedain Mark goes on Dúnhere, while all other attachments are for Gimli: Citadel Plate, Dwarven Axe, Unexpected Courage, Steward of Gondor, Song of Kings or Nor am I a Stranger.
You spent a quite big amount of time on first stage, trying to put on table as much allies as possible and lower the threat under 34. The point is to put the trolls down one by one.
My game took 25 rounds with final score 263 points.
Few Notes: I will possibly try to reduce number of attachments and replace them with allies, also Beorning Beekeeper wasn't so useful and I will possibly replace him in the future. Miner of the Iron Hills is must have for this scenario, and used him in combination with Born Aloft a lot.
