"Still, I wonder if we shall ever be put into songs or tales. We're in one, of course; but I mean: put into words, you know, told by the fireside, or read out of a great big book with red and black letters, years and years afterwards. And people will say: 'Let's hear about Frodo and the Ring!' And they'll say: 'Yes, that's one of my favourite stories. Frodo was very brave. wasn't he, dad?' 'Yes, my boy, the famousest of the hobbits', and that's saying a lot."
Samwise the brave cannot carry the ring for you, but he can carry you!
Ever since the beginning of the saga quests I have wanted to pilot a deck with only Sam and Frodo. Now that The Land of Shadow is real we can finally put together a deck that will feature Sam!
This has some pretty standard leadership/secrecy cards but I didn't want to sacrifice the best Hobbit card in the game: Fast Hitch. A Good Harvest->Fast Hitch should do the trick, plus its a good way to use fellowship resources that you've maybe been gathering.
Timely Aid in tandem with A Very Good Tale is just awesome.
In Leadership you'll be missing some good willpower so Celebrían's Stonemay help alleviate that.
Let me know what you think.

Apr 15, 2016@bzgamingSorry, I'm an Idiot. I meant that TIMELY AID and A Very Good Tale are awesome together... in tandem. These are just both really great cards for cheesing out big Allies. In fact, I'm already thinking of adding either Landroval, Ally Legolas, #Haldir of Lórien, or Gildor Inglorion... or any combination of these guys just because of how amazing A very good tale is and (separately, but similarly) how amazing Swift and Silent is. |
Apr 16, 2016Ah! That makes a lot more sense :) |

Apr 18, 2016Yea. I figured it out. :) All I have to say about this deck is Do Not take it against Escape From Dol Guldor! ;) |
"Swift and Silent plus A Very Good Tale is just awesome."
I don't get it. How do these work together?
