This deck was build for the monthly deck challenge to builda tri-sphere Gondor deck. I tested a lot of different decks and found that the main problem was card draw and early Willpower. The only Gondor hero with a card draw ability is Damrod and I found it hard to include both traps and ally swarming in the deck. So I picked another thematic option to draw cards: Pippin. He combines nicely with Mablung and together they let us do some enemy engagement shenanigans with Wait no Longer or Tireless Hunters in multiplayer.
Denethor is our third hero and helps with ressource smoothing and let us play our key attachments (Steward of Gondor, Visionary Leadership) faster. He is also a strong defender once he has Armored Destrier and Gondorian Shield.
In the early game Radagast's Cunning, Secret Paths, Halfling Determination and Wait no Longer let us control the questing and help to keep our threat low. Once we get some allies and Visionary Leadership or Faramir into play we can start to rush throught the quest. Without weapons or an attacking hero, Knight of Minas Tirith and Ithilien Lookout can help with attack even if we can't play them to full effect.
