This is a traps deck with the then-complete set of decks, but meant to be paired with a leadership-lore-tactics dunedain deck. As such, probably the best early card to get is Forest Snare, to permanently make an engaged enemy on the Dunedain side. Heir of Valandil is also a key Dunedain enabler, though Heir of Mardil, all the songs (including The Day's Rising once Faramir is sentinel), and Steward of Gondor are intended for the other deck. For this side, #anborn and Master of the Forge will help keep the deck in traps, and traps keep the cards flowing and hamper your enemies. Rivendell Minstrel will pull out the most needed songs and quest, while Treebeard and his lore ents will provide questing heft, and attack heft if necessary.
There's four ways to trigger Heir of Mardil on Faramir in the other deck, Steward of Gondor, Errand-rider, The Day's Rising, and Théodred.
The sideboard is Elrond for conditions, Thror's Map for obnoxious travel locations, and The Evening Star for location-heavy quests.
