Pirate Brahm 1038

Arise, arise, Riders of Théoden! spear shall be shaken, shield shall be splintered, a sword-day, a red day, ere the sun rises! Ride now, ride now, ride! Ride for ruin and the world's ending! Death! Death! Death! Forth Eorlingas!

Ride for ruin and the world's ending! is a two-handed fellowship consisting of a Caldara/Théoden/Éowyn questing deck and an Elfhelm/Erkenbrand/Aragorn combat deck.

The combat deck uses Elfhelm's mount buffing to grant combat bonuses to Erkenbrand's defense and Aragorn's ability to destroy and engage. The questing deck provides plenty of with its mounted heroes while spamming out an ally army using Caldara's ability and Théoden's discount.

How you attach your mounts will depend on when they turn up from the deck (Galadriel or Sneak Attack Gandalf will assist with getting them out faster).

-Erkenbrand gets two copies of Armored Destrier so he can defend up to three times for 4 each round, cancelling any dangerous shadow effects with his ability.

-Aragorn gets one copy of Steed of the North and a copy of Rohan Warhorse. With a mount, he can hit for 4 and tack on a -1 from his passive ability. With a little help, that should be enough to kill an enemy so he can activate Rohan Warhorse to engage and kill another enemy. The Steed of the North gives him the ability to engage and ready to kill a third enemy - or he can quest and ready during engagement.

-Elfhelm gets the leftover mounts. An Armored Destrier means he can defend for 3, and the second copy of Rohan Warhorse ready up to assist Aragorn with 2 for kill #1, and then ready again to help Aragorn with kill #2. He also is usually the recipient of Steward of Gondor and Song of Battle, smoothing the resources and raising him to 3.

Golden Shield is meant to be passed over to the quest deck, which means, when mounted, Théoden will be sentinel defending for 5 or more.

The other cards in the deck help oil the engine. Westfold Outrider brings more enemies to Aragorn, and Quick Strike should take care of any leftovers from the previous round of combat. I put Faramir in to boost the questing player, since the combat deck should generally sit back during questing so it can do what it does best. Dúnedain Remedy is critical for keeping Elfhelm healthy for shadow cancellation. There's also plenty of sentinel defenders to make sure the questing deck has the capacity to go YOLO every round.
