The Warriors of Dale Amroth
This is a simple Dale deck that uses Prince Imrahil and Dale Warriors to get the Dale train rolling. I play this deck solo 1-handed.
PROXY: Citadel Custodian is proxy for Wiglaf (Unique, Dale, Warrior, Scout - 5, 2, 2, 1, 3 - Exhaust an attachment to ready him).
PROXY: Tome of Atanatar is proxy for Ancestral Armor (4, item, armor, attach to Leadership or Noble character, +2 +2).
PLAY NOTES:
Starting Hand - Of course, you're looking for King of Dale. If you don't get King of Dale, hopefully you draw a Long Lake Fisherman to fish for it. Both Long Lake allies and any 0 cost attachments are great to get the Dale train rolling.
Turn 1 - If you can, drop attachments on Brand son of Bain and Bard son of Brand for card draw and . If the quest has enemies on the table, I'll hold Prince Imrahil back to defend. If not, I'll chance it and rely on his ability to pull a warrior as a defender. If I don't have King of Dale, I'll play conservatively since it's going to take longer to get rolling.
Early game - I just drop the attachments on anyone to get card draw from Brand son of Bain. Long Lake Trader can move the cards around later, or Bard son of Brand will return them to your hand (limit: once per phase). I haven't had trouble getting King of Dale in the first 1-3 turns.
Questing - Questing is usually easy with all the + boosts from Brand son of Bain. Rhovanion Outrider and Map of Rhovanion can prevent location lock. Sometimes I'll quest with Knight of Dale or Guardian of Esgaroth as well if they aren't needed.
Defending - Redwater Sentry, and Guardian of Esgaroth, and Knight of Dale all make great defenders with Hauberk of Mail, Ancestral Armor, and Squire's Helm. There are 11 warriors in this deck, so Prince Imrahil can often bring in a defender. Too bad Guardian of Esgaroth isn't a Warrior though.
Attacking - Prince Imrahil can bring in several different warriors to defend of attack. Knight of Dale can use Leadership resources to ready and Wiglaf can be passed an attachment from the Long Lake Trader to exhaust and ready (note, using Spare Hood and Cloak doesn't work because it actually exhausts itself). After the warrior allies are returned to the deck, their attachments are returned to your hand to play next turn for more card draw. Attacking really isn't a problem due to the sheer number of allies.
A Test of Will is saved for the anti-swarm treacheries found in the Roam Across Rhovanion.
Gandalf is still around because I find that I have plenty of resources in the mid-late game and I appreciate his versatility.
The Future - Valiant Determination (The Ghost of Framsburg AP - 2 Attachment - Ally does not exhaust to quest) might be good on a full-power Guardian of Esgaroth. But this deck is not lacking . Other than that, I don't see any spoiled cards from the rest of the Ered Mithrin cycle that would help this deck.
Comments, criticism, and recommendations are appreciated.

Oct 24, 2018No worries dude. I'm no stranger to oversights or space saving for this game! I'm going to play test your version tonight and let you know how it goes! Thank you for the list! |
I may have misunderstood this, but unfortunately you wouldn't be able to use Wiglaf's ability if he's passed a Spare Hood and Cloak to ready him again as you have to exhaust it and the ally it was previously on to ready him and attach it to him. Other than that it looks a really fun deck! Kudos!
