Aragorn is my favorite character in the books and movies so i wanted to make a deck with him and his gang of friends to go along wiht him. This is a strider deck that will need Gandalf in play with him. Gandalf is the main part of the deck. We want to get him out as soon as possible. Ideally you have Timely Aid in your starting hand and it will hit Gandalf with it. Strider goes on Loragorn himself as well as all the other attachments other than Gandalfs toys once he gets into play. Aragorn and Gandalf will be able to handle combat pretty well on their on for this is a solo deck. They both will be able to quest without exhausting. For the smaller enemies use Roheryn and have Aragorn roast it off the board. For the boss type enemies you may need to defend with an ally and then swing with Aragorn boosted up with Gondorian Fire.
Ideal starting hand will have no copies of Gandalf or Treebeard for we want them to come out with Timely Aid.
Strider Timely Aid and a copy of Resourceful are pretty nice to see in your starting hand.
Word of Command can be used once you dont need Gandalf for combat to fetch key cards lke CelebrÃan's Stone
Secrecy should not be a problem for Vanish from Sight and Aragorns one time ability can get you into it anytime you need so you can play Resourceful and Timely Aid

Jul 04, 2019Indeed with Folco And Loragorn it is better to discard Folco after Aragorn's reset! That's why you could play doomed cards if this deck is for solo. |
Man do I love two hero decks. I think you should add Folco Boffin as it gives you one extra resource for the firs turn plus two less threat after you discard him. Giving your secrecy more time to develop.
