So when making a deck featuring Boromir one has to make sure that his/her threat isn't going through the roof using his ablity. With the likes of Aragorn and lady Galadriel you can make sure that Boromir will always be ready to do his job, which in this case is the clearing of your staging area.
Using multiple copies of Gondorian Shield and Blood of NĂºmenor you can make sure that none can penetrate Boromirs defense and with Gondorian Fire you can destroy those pesky little orcses. The Blood and Fire do require you to fetch a Steward of Gondor by using A Good Harvest to pay for your Leadership resources. You will also be stacking resources on Boromir because of the lack of Tactics cards featured in this deck.
Now for Loragorn you want to use the Henamarth Riversong and Wingfoot combo. Use Henamarth to look at the top card of the encounter deck, quest with Loragorn and trigger Wingfoots response to ready him. With A Burning Brand attachted to him he is a pretty great Sentinel defender which you can use for yourself or for your companions. And if you end up with a very high threat because Boromir is to anxious to kill orcs, you can trigger Loragorns ability to reset your threatmeter. Or you can be avery kind person and use Desperate Alliance to give a companion with a high threat control over Aragorn and let them also trigger his ability.
Now for Galadriel. Using her printed ability is critical to this deck for you can make sure that the increasing threat from Boromirs ability is somewhat controlled. Using Nenya to increase the willpower of another character might also not be a bad idea, since Loragorn can ready using Wingfoot or one of the copies of Unexpected Courage he becomes a very capable quester. Galadriel should have atleast one copy of Unexpected Courage to make sure that she can trigger her own ability and Nenya. With her Mirror she can fetch A Good Harvest and/or Steward of Gondor to get Boromir going.
Now with the card draw, threat reduction and other shenanigans that this deck can be great at, you should have yourself a pretty solid Boromir deck.
Any suggestions and criticism are most welcome, my first deck on RingsDB and I am rather proud of it and I am curious to what you all have to say about it.
