This deck is meant to pair with another deck that has the tactics ents, but except for King Under the Mountain and Asfaloth everything here would work as a solo deck (though having DĂșnedain Signal and The Day's Rising would be a waste without having Dori and Gondorian Shield in the other deck to buff Faramir's defense.
Strategy is straightforward -- get the ents out and use Faramir's ability to ready them when someone engages. My favorite to ready is the Wellinghall Preserver if Treebeard is banged up, he can attack (or defend, for a less dangerous enemy) and then heal again.
Wingfoot and Heir of Mardil always go on Faramir, Self Preservation always goes on Treebeard. The Song of Wisdom will go on Faramir to make him an eligible target for A Burning Brand. Early on Théodred will give Treebeard his resource to help pay for green cards, later when Faramir has his song and/or the Heir of Mardil, he'll be the target (or sometimes Glorfindel in the companion deck to pay for something.)
Look for Steward of Gondor in your opening hand, which can help pay for a Wellinghall in the first turn. If it doesn't show up then, don't be afraid to put it on Faramir if he has Heir of Mardil, and use it to get two defenses out of Faramir. Armored Destrier also is beautiful on Faramir, this deck has 53 cards instead of the usual 51 for the Dori decks because it came out while we were playing with the decks, and I just added it in without removing any cards.
The sideboard is Elrond for conditions, Warden of Healing for direct damage that can't be plopped on ents, an extra Asfaloth for location heavy quests, and Thror's Map for obnoxious travel locations.
