Mythik 216
Bond of Friendship, featuring Hobbits.
Fairly standard Hero lineup for a Hobbit BoF deck - Quest with Sam and Pippin, reduce threat with Merry, defend with Tom. Play allies and/or Thorongil to get Merry into play to take care of attacks.
I really enjoy the Hobbit archetype - it feels like there is always something happening outside the normal flow of a turn. Whether drawing cards and readying Sam, lowering threat with Merry, or making meaningful decisions with Rosie, just about every turn is interesting in some way.
As with all other Hobbit decks, any starting hand including Rosie is worth keeping for her alone. Raise the Shire is functionally more copies of Rosie as well. Other good cards to see early are readying - Fast Hitch/Unexpected Courage, attack power - Thorongil/Treebeard, questing power - Red Book of Westmarch/Robin, Halbarad.
Between Pippin, Peace, and Thought, Spare Pipe, Heed the Dream, Gather Information, Raise the Shire, Odo, Gléowine, and Gandalf, there's quite a bit of card draw to find the multitude of single copies of uniques you need for any given quest.
I've had a lot of fun with this one. Just don't take it against battle or siege quests - not it's strong suit.
