I built this deck as a response to Card talk challenge and so far tested it against Celebrimbor's Secret. I was not sure which heroes to select, but decided to go with these three for the below reasons:

Elrond - Boosts healing, his ability helps with resource smoothing between both spheres of his deck.

Erestor - this hero almost felt like cheating since I did not have to even use the contract options. Especially if you get Prepare for Battle into the victory display. Although I did use the contract in the early stages, looking for cards like Legacy of Númenor .

Thranduil - He is a good defender and some cards like Captain's Wisdom can target him and help to pay for the Leadership cards.

I will be honest that first few rounds were bit harder, but depends on luck I guess... But once it got going, I really enjoyed this deck and found it could perform well. Playing Elrond without Vilya was weird, but I did not want to play it blindly and I was not sure if I wanted to include Gildor Inglorion as pretty much expensive Imladris Stargazer into the deck. But in the end I found out, I was ok without it.

Opening hand:

O Lórien! , Protector of Lórien , Legacy of Númenor would work well in my experience. The first will make paying for any future Silvan ally easier. The other can in the first round utilize Erestor discard either for questing, or defense. The Storm Comes is also good unless you have quest which really punishes side quests (Escape from Umbar?). But in some others, like Conflict at Carrock, where you want to stall at certain phase, it would be great.

Heroes usage and attachmentts: Thranduil - as the main defender, he gets the Armored Destrier, A Burning Brand, Cloak of Lórien and Dúnedain Warning. He is also target for Protector of Lórien Elrond - I sort of kept him as a secondary defender for smaller attacks, so I gave him A Burning Brand and Cloak of Lórien. Since there are three Protector of Lórien, you can put one on thim as well. And I can see him as potential attacker in this deck. Erestor - as the main questor, he is target for Celebrían's Stone. As like Elrond he has attack 2, he can serve as the attacking hero.

General notes:

I am still debating if Song of Kings is needed, but I think it would be nice to have on Erestor at times. Not necessary, but nice.

I know The Elvenking is often used with Thranduil but with Erestor as hero and no Silver Harp ... It seemed like waste. If I got the Armored Destrier on Thranduil, I still got two defenses from him each round and one I could use A Burning Brand and discard the other shadow card. It is also great to get Treebeard in early so he can help to pay for the Ent allies. And I got lucky I actually got him into play using Elf-stone.
