What if I could tell you that you would very seldom have to worry about mustering up enough attack power to take down an enemy? Or better yet, how about not attacking enemies at all? With the new arrival of Argalad, it becomes even easier to not have to attack a majority of the enemies throughout a game.
With past Hero Thalin and a bit of shenanigans, enemies will be dead or nearly dead when it comes time to engage you. And even when they do happen to engage you because they're still somehow alive, there's not much hope for them. Gondorian Spearman+Spear of the Citadel and even Goblin-cleaver make any left over enemies that engage you take more damage before their attack goes through.
Even still that is just a small dose of the power of the deck. You still have the awesome combo of Anborn+Sword-thain+Wingfoot to put even more damage onto every enemy that's revealed from the deck. Not to mention having fun using A Good Harvest+Reinforcements to put any combination of Gandalf/Beorning Beekeeper/Descendant of Thorondor to add up even more damage onto enemies.
This deck by no means is a do it all deck. It is quite weak for questing and if you happen to get location flooded you're in for a bad time. And if you happen to play quest which enemies have the Toughness keyword you're better off using another deck. But pairing this up with a questing heavy deck can solve one of its flaws.
This deck overall is fun to play with all the ways to do damage to enemies without having to attack them. Most turns you can easily put 3 damage onto an enemy as soon as it gets revealed from the deck. And with other means can take down even the strongest of enemies without a fight.
