This is my post-con update to my favorite deck from Con of the Rings 2022.

I kept flip flopping on whether this is a Boromir-Eagles deck or a (MotK) Legolas-Eagles deck. Then I finally decided it's a Support of the Eagles deck! Equip either Legolas or Boromir with Support of the Eagles (preferably with an Eagles of the Misty Mountains on the table with 3-4 cards attached) depending on what the situation calls for and watch all your enemies weep for mercy. (MotK) Legolas with a Rohan Warhorse (or two) and Support of the Eagles will be able to draw 2 cards a turn while mowing down enemies from anywhere on the board. Boromir with a Gondorian Shield and a copy of Support of the Eagles can either be a super-defender or defend and hit back hard. In a battle or siege quest, he can even contribute nicely to the quest while still being ready for combat. Mablung is included for the resource acceleration to help amass an army of eagles and has a lot of flexibility to contribute where needed with his balanced stats.

I've had some issue threating out with this deck in quests where there are treacheries that raise your threat a lot To combat this I have a Secret Vigil, and optionally Favor of the Valar, Gandalf, and Keen as Lances. Hour of Wrath is a potent late game card once you have your heroes pumped up.

This deck will handle combat and is great at battle and siege questing but won't handle any other aspects of the game. Threat reduction is the biggest need. Healing helps but isn't typically critical. There is enough Ranged and Sentinel to be of help to other players.
