NERD 808

A thematic deck from Bilbo's adventures, leveraging Bond of Friendship to use as many songs as possible. The King's Return can find Guarded cards for Bilbo Baggins, while Durin's Song can trigger Love of Tales. The sphere giving songs boost Fireside Song and smoothe resources. The Road Goes Ever On and Drinking Song let you find The Storm Comes and other key pieces. Swift and Strong is a rarely used song that combines nicely with Dwarrowdelf axes and the other Guarded weapons. Overall, this is a somewhat playable deck with tons of synergies. Enjoy singing while you mine!

Have fun,

NERD

would prefer Ori over Bifur with your deck. your lore-cards cost 0-1 you rarely will use bifurs ability.

would add Song of Wisdom elso only bifur can benefit from Love of Tales.

would not do the Kili/Fili-combo would replace them with a Longbeard Elder and either a 2.#dwalin (he is soo good for cost of 1) or a Erebor Guard that supports the mining and he is a decent defender.

another idea is, keep Bifur and add 2 Rivendell Minstrel, they get you the important song(s) you need. would discard the 2 The Road Goes Ever On for the minstrels

Ori is a good idea; I chose Bifur for his threat rather than for his ability. I don't think Song of Wisdom is worth it as you will rarely get both Love of Tales anway. Also, once Bifur gets a Song of Kings or Song of Travel, his ability becomes helpful. Thus, I think he may still be better than Ori, as Legacy of Durin and King Under the Mountain provide decent draw. I like Kili and Fili as they give me dwarves quickly. However, without Dáin Ironfoot, I think you are right. If you wanted to make the deck stronger, you could just swap Balin for Dain. However, I prefer theme. Thus, I also would not include Rivendell Minstrel. The Road Goes Ever On is definitely not needed. However, I have never used it, and this seemed like a good fit.
