The Purple Wizard 1195

A strong questing deck right off the bat that works great as a support deck but is far from helpless in combat like other support decks can be. This deck is one of my favorites to play as each game with it feels different from the last. Since its success doesn't depend on one or two "must-have" cards you never navigate your deck the same way twice, yet it still manages to be powerful. Fun!

Some strategy:

~There's no one or two cards you need to mulligan for---indeed, most starting hands will give you some good beginning options. That said, probably your friendliest first-turn draws are Master of the Forge, To the Sea, to the Sea!. Silver Harp, Ranger of Cardolan, and Light of Valinor.

~Arwen Undómiel's resource most often goes to Aragorn to help with the costly Lore cards.

~Círdan the Shipwright with Light of Valinor and Narya equipped is a force to be reckoned with and a lifesaver in multiplayer.

~When playing multi-player I throw in one copy of Desperate Alliance per each additional player to make max use of Aragorn's threat reduction. Your friends will breath easier,

~Both Gandalf and Elrond make fantastic targets for Sneak Attack. Narya gives you the necessary Leadership resources and can then give them multiple actions while in play. Fantastic value!

~If you make it all the way to the bottom of your deck and the game isn't won yet, you now can play Lords of the Eldar every turn. Not too shabby.
