doomguard 2121
title says it all.
shines perhaps best together with another gondordeck with the usual heroes (specially Boromir and beregond)
mainpoint:
the synergy of Lothíriel and Ingold. ingold is so usable 2 times a round (once in the planning phase and once with lothiriels ability). the possible increase of thread can be reduced with our swiss-knife Gandalf (with or without Sneak Attack or with Celador)
in this configuration, the deck is more a questdeck, try to lure the big enemys into traps. because of low(-ish) thread and the Ranger Spikes some enemys can be left in the staging and either your mates handle them or with Faramir used with Lothíriels ability or Gandalf nuke them away.
little Lothíriel- tricks:
- usuable with Valiant Sacrifice
- Envoy of Pelargir or Squire of the Citadel adds res
- Morwen Steelsheen can be used with an ally imported by Lothíriel and after that she can use her reaction
- Mablung, Faramir, Knight of Belfalas and Soldier of Gondor have come-into-play effects
finishing notes:
- Steward of Gondor is nice but not mandatory
- defend big enemys with Gandalf or chump them, weak enemys can be defended with Unexpected Courage by Ingold
- Wealth of Gondor let you play a 2-cost-ally or Steward of Gondor 1. round
replacing Lothíriel with Damrod can be used to make a very solid trap-deck.
