This deck focuses on combat (obviously...) but via Éowyn, West Road Traveller, Silvan Refugee, and Arwen Undómiel it also offers questing, location management, and some defence boosts. Attachments go as follows:

Beregond gets Gondorian Shield, Raven-winged Helm, and Spear of the Citadel. The first Unexpected Courage must go on Beregond.

Éowyn gets Snowmane from the other deck and Herugrim from this deck to support Legolas in combat. If she gets a Song of Travel then she can quest for 5 and then be ready for combat to hit for 7.

Legolas gets kitted out. In the opening hand you should look for either Rivendell Blade, Rohan Warhorse, or Bow of the Galadhrim. Captain of Gondor goes on Legolas, as does Black Arrow. If you have to choose between the three restricted attachments, keep the Rohan Warhorse and lose one of the weapons, since the warhorse gives readying and +1 attack.

Déorwine offers some shadow cancellation thanks to Mounts and Songs Deck 1, and Sterner than Steel offers a little boost here as well.

It is possible on turn 1 to hit an enemy for a total of 14 or more attack power (using Éowyn's ability. The deck actually performs quite well on its own, since Beregond controls threat and can potentially defend 3-4 times in one turn. Honour Guards provide passive healing, and Foe-hammer is the card draw.
