  • He's mainly here for his ability, really powerful in dwarven swarm decks.

Notes:

• Mulligan for Narvi's Belt. Legacy of Durin may also be an option.
• Bifur's action should be fueled each turn... most of the time with Dáin's resources.
  • This will allow us to play 2 allies each round (triggering Nori's response in the process... much better if Legacy of Durin is also in play).
• The only reason for Record Keepers existence is to ready Dáin Ironfoot.
  • The Magic Ring can also be used for that purpose.
  • If possible, don't risk Dáin on defense without the Magic Ring (sometimes chump-blocking is a better option).
• Battle Masters are the only targets of the Dwarrowdelf Axes.
  • A Battle Master with two Axes turns into a killing machine with 8 and 2 direct damage.
  • No dwarf is going to present any complaint if a Record Keeper uses his ability to get ready one of these beasts.
• There are 3 different ways to recover/prevent a discarded Will of the West:
  • Recovering: Ered Nimrais Prospector, Dwarf Pipe.
  • Preventing: Spare Pipe.
• The Prospector and Dwarf Pipe, together with the Erebor Hammersmith, can also recover Zigil Miner's discarded cards.
  • This deck has the same number of 1-cost and 2-cost cards (18 each), and they represent 72% of the deck.
  • Take a look at your already revealed cards and make your choice between one of those values for triggering Zigil's action.
• Even though each event is a good pick, Durin's Song's versatility makes it probably the best target for the Spare Pipe.

Sideboard:

• Bofur is a great ally, the main reason for not including him is that I have a 2nd dwarf deck and Bofur () is already there.
  • Blue Mountain Traders shine a bit more when I play both decks.
• Ring Mails are good targets for Dwalin and the Erebor Guards.
  • Any of them with two Mails get better defense stats than Dáin.
• The Lure of Moria is a bit expensive but its ability is game-ending.
• If the intention is mining hard, having a 2nd copy of Will of the West could be an option.
  • For making space, I would remove 1 copy of Smoke and Think.
