Premise
My preferred Háma deck for solo play. This deck uses Feint and Quick Strike to solve your defensive woes while Háma (being equipped with Strength and Courage) should be sufficient to kill most things coming your way, recycling your defensive events (most prominently Feint) along the way. Gildor Inglorion and Arwen Undómiel provide some much-needed questing early on (even before you flip your contract) while drawing you enough cards to keep you afloat. Later on, Arwen (together with Steward of Gondor, Heir of Mardil/Light of Valinor and Gondorian Shield) actually becomes quite the defender, making the limit on Háma's triggers not that limiting after all.
How To Play
In my opening hand, I like to see either Feint or Quick Strike to have access to an early defensive solution. Apart from that, Elven-light and Foe-hammer (alongside a Weapon) are always decent to see as they draw you plenty of cards and thus enable a quick contract flip.
Considerations
Magic Ring and Unexpected Courage become quite important if you are likely to face more than one enemy per round (at which point the deck can start to struggle), Double Back is a good option (in addition to Elrond's Counsel) to cover threat, in multiplayer it is a worthy inclusion almost always and in solo I still like it for quests that heavily tax you on that front.
Enjoy!!!

Aug 15, 2024Hmm, not sure that Captain is worth it, it will mostly end up being a +1 att on Hama and will work against Wait no Longer. I do really like Wait no Longer in solo, a Robert nd without any reveals is really good I find. I like Keen as Lances as well in 3Hs and thought about it here, however this deck has much more to do with its resources than normal 3Hs decks, as Gildor and Hama bith have resource intensive abilities and Arwen has Elven Light to spend resources on. Therefore, I decided against it. |
Aug 18, 2024Interesting deck. I am just a little curious as to why We Are Not Idle is in the deck? It can’t be used at all, unless there is something I missed? |

what about Captain of Gondor?
Forth, The Three Hunters! solo with The One Ring i have found Keen as Lances very usefull (thread or cards) would replace Wait no Longer i think it not so potent in solo
